Description |
Electric Percolator In the 1920s, the Edicraft division of Thomas Alva Edison Inc. began making "electric servants" (a popular term for kitchen appliances at the time). Sales heavily declined during the Great Depression, causing Edicraft to cease production in 1934. Hotpoint advertised this as the El Perco (short for Electric Percolator). The heating element is a part of the appliance. |
