Description |
Edison profile on one side, with "Edison" and "1964 Tokyo." On reverse, around rim: "The 8th International Edison Birthday Celebration," and in center: "In Tokyo, Japan." Medal attached to pin by means of ring at top of medal. Pin has ribbon bow in red and blue. Bronze. Catalog Work Sheet Marks text as above Round coin with portrait relief bust of Edison on front and inscription on back. Red and blue ribbon attached to top of coin through loophole on coin. Edges of all letters and bust are tarnished, as is the general surface (though not to a great extent). Top side of ribbon is greatly faded (especially compared to underside) and edges are fraying. |
