Description |
Just like the early brown wax cylinders, early Edison Gold-Moulded cylinders had no title on the edge at first, just like this one with its accompanying canister and lid. The paper that has a white circle against a blue background paper pasted on the side of this canister is the only way one could tell what was on the cylinder. The title and artist is listed on the paper. Originally this paper could be found inside the canister with the cylinder. |
