Description |
Edison commemorative round bronze medallion. Obverse: Top edge has the name Thomas Alva Edison embossed above a side portrait bust (facing right) of Edison in the front with a half laurel wreath underneath. 1847 & 1931 near the bottom edge. (Year of birth and death) Reverse: The Hall of Fame For Great Americans at New York University embossed around the top edge. Bust of angel holding an incandescent lightbulb above Earth in the center, ship with an anchor and gears behind what appears to be foliage of some type. |
