| Description | This style of horn was the most common phonograph horn used. It was nicknamed the "witches hat" because when upside down, it looked like a witches hat. Even though they were of different colors, the bell portion was a brass color, which is what the horn was made out of, and the slimmer part was painted black. They came in all sizes. The bigger the horn, the more volume that the phonograph commanded. Black with gold trim phonograph mounted on wood box. Small narrow black horn with brass flared rim side crank. |
