Description |
This phonograph is an Edison Standard Model D, which was introduced in October of 1908 in the United States and August 1909 in the United Kingdom. It had the capability of playing both 2-minute black wax cylinders and 4-minute black Amberol cylinders. It operated on a single spring. A gear change push-pull button switched between playing the different cylinder lengths. Edison standard phonograph black painted with gold trim mounted on dark wood box. |
