Two medals with profile of Edison. Inscription around rim: "Society of Arts and Sciences Edison Tribute May 24th, 1928." Reverse is smooth. Bronze. BF 1969.7.4563.1, .2 Catalog Work Sheet Marks text as above Bronze medallion with medium-relief bust of Edison in Center, relief lettered inscription around edge of circle. Back side is blank. Bronze is tarnished on bottom and in deepest crevices. |
